You can call me an infected. For many many years the flu has not been able to touch me. Seriously, the last time I remember having the flu when I was like 7. I have had plenty of sinus infections but no flu. No longer. On this date I have tested positive for the swine flu. If I am to have one, let it be the mach daddy of the flu for I will never be this wretched feeling again. AGAIN!

Been in bed sick with fever, hot and cold coughing and body aches. Merriweather was the only thing that could keep me warm.
Hopefully, tomorrow i will be feeling better. Also tylenol cold is some good stuff.

Just finished reading two books this "weekend." One book I read was Trick of Light by Rob Thurman. It made me happy and is definitely available for the borrowing for indoctrination frugal peoples I know. The other was Tempest Rising by Nicole Peeler.
Trick of Light played to my love of snarky characters, trickery, and wanton destruction of property and people. Tempest Rising is an urban fantasy that rang more true to a romance novel a la The Undead and Unwed by Janice Davidson.
Luna has been placing her wee one all over the place. Esod 3 found it in a tarp bad that I keep my other reuseable bags in. I think the wee one looks like a Lycan from Underworld and that we should name it Lucian.

Luna is weird. She brought the wee thing back into dad's room this morning.
Supernatural ep had me laughing in very high pitched tones. It was totally made of win.
Also of note, these same high pitched tones make my cat want to attack me. Thank goodness Merriweather is hiding in fright from the wee thing.

I am not entirely confident in Luna (esod 3's cat) mothering instincts. She lets esod 3 hold her and touch her baby. She just brought up her 4 day old baby to the stairs through multiple child proof gates in her mouth. Umm... yea. Disturbed. More disturbing still, esod 3 described being Luna's mother. I am scared.

After a long week of human suck, whether unintentional or not, I really looked forward to the Halloween Party. I tried boozahol in real earnest. Um. Yea boozahol is not for me. It truly gets me light headed and woosey and sleepy. I don't like that feeling. >:( Other than that Halloweening party was awesometastic. :)

Big Bang theory had Wil Wheaton on as a guest star. I totally squeed loud enough to annoy other people. Like really annoy alot.
Sunday, I took Georgie to Mohegan for dinner in celebration of her b-day and so she can spend her gift card for Lush. It is decided that we must place her in a goo-aoholic anonymous. I also bought a giant Hello Kitty bento box. Ah, I am not sure I can use it in the microwave so I am not sure if I can really use it for food stuffs.

I am deliciously full of the apple fritters from the Southington's Apple Festival. Hung out with the Shadowravyn and Shogunhb. Saw one of my co-workers there and spoke with them and students but I totally ninjaed out of that. Was tempted by tupperwear - they had things that could totally be used for bento things and Shadowravyn saved me from doing some scarey stuff with my credit card. Shogunhb was awesome and found a key piece of my Halloween costume.
Learned that cotton candy is best eaten fresh and there is such a thing as "stupid hot."
Met up with a Toph Monster for foodstuffs.
Went home and re-bought Tell All Your Friends and Where You Want To Be by Taking Back Sunday. Esods have lost and scratched to hell my cds and I really missed them. I like "Little Devotional" and "...Slowdance on the inside" and have sung them at crazy loud levels already like I used to on my commute to UConn.
