I hate Esod 2 right now, being up. But you know at least writing out the drama of the day, has attracted Velcro out of hiding to attack my keyboard. She is adorable evil kitten and makes me happy.

OOo. Before, I forget, I tried the Blue Cheese Burger from Wendy's. You know what it is better than the one I had from Bobby's Burger Palace. Like way better.

Yea remember when I said I didn't need to buy anymore books because I have plenty to read? Yea... I just found a "hidden" stash. Yea... really no need to go back to the book store for a while.

Then I saw this an lol'ed.

Also, I kinda coveted the stage The Who played on at the Superbowl.

Esod 3 got my wireless mouse to work. I feel a little bit made of fail, not going to lie. I didn't push a button on the bottom of the mouse and the button on the laptop receiver thing at the same time. *thud*

Coke commercials have been awesome during the Superbowl.

Velcro is a neurotic in the cute, probably should expect it sort of way. She keeps trying to attack a spot on the wall. Also, she keeps give wet willies to my dad, in other words licking the inner ear when he is asleep. I giggle.

Creepy Panda Food I love pandas. They have a nub that is almost a thumb but really not, their fur is in my favorite colors, rolly polly and antisocial to one another. Oh and cute. I am not sure I would eat this and I am fine eating the panda cookies with chocolate on the inside.

8:21 pm - some thoughts
Georgi and I having a convo about digital readers and the status of the book. I brought up that the technology could bring about a new Dark Age. That people without the means to buy a computer, have an access point to the internet and the money to buy a "book" will be left out in the dark when it comes to information. Information in an electronic format can totally be controlled by governments and corporations. It would be so easy for agents of the government to not think much of backing up some historical information and dupe future generations as to what when on. Of course, the Georgi helped dialed back some of my paranoia a bit saying that it will take time for the doom to happen and some people will hang on to their books with a leaded fist (I am looking at you shadowravyn to keep the sci-fi/fantasy genre alive in the Zompocolyse).

Then we got into the HD tvs verses the analog signal and how that had to be some back room deal to get people to consume more tvs and to let the other technology die.

http://heyoscarwilde.com

It is neat website. The site features various artists with various art styles doing images if different literary authors. I like the heading, when you click on a new page it changes.

People who knew my mom, well they have been saying I look like her. I am creeped out by it. What is creepier, my father agrees.

Wishing for snow on Sunday. 0:)

Finished reading "Moonlight" by Rachel Hawthorne. It is a werewolf YA book. I found it to be a quick read. I would let people borrow it so they wouldn't have to buy it. Yea for keeping New Years resolution.

Velcro tried to eat my earring out of my ear. That was weird. I also figured out she mews when she wants attention. This is the first cat that does this that we have owned. I mean it is not often but tad bit weird for me.

I feel old when I am not? The world that I have grown up with is really eroding away into a new configuration. I don't think I am at all prepared for it all. Cuz if a Y2k like thing happens now, we are all pretty much screwed. I like paper trails - either real or electronic. It makes me feel better. Then again, I come from a looooonnng line of hoarders.

I am not a fan of room with not enough stuff in it, it freaks me out. Zen decorating is not for me. Like I said, I come from a long line of hoarders, on both sides of my family. I am screwed both genetically and environmentally. Sure you can call it "collecting" but no it is culturally accepted hoarding. Which is why, my car will never be clean like a "normal" car - well that and my irrational fear of having to survive a snowstorm in my car or falling into a portal/pocket dimension and surviving the experience (the latter I think, I can blame Sliders for that how the hell can you find acceptable gas grades across the dimensions to make it go????).

I listen to a lot of pop punk / emo stuff. Although, I can't find all my older Blink 182 stuff to upload to my computer. I really want Enema of the State back on my laptop.

It is really fun to say "itty bitty committee."

1:01 pm - I have the most awesomest God Mother ever.
I haven't seen my god-mom in forever. She calls me the other day and we set a time to have food today.

So lets set the scene. My God Mom is 70ish old and full blooded Irish. And made of awesome. We were talking about my uncle and other stuff. My father was goading her on. The best out of the whole bunch, my father made the comment one is you go to heaven the other you get to be warm. She chips in if she goes to hell she hopes to get a pitchfork to poke people with. Not just any pitchfork but one that is electrified like a stun gun. I laughed so hard. It made my day. She is totally the most awesomest God Mom anybody could have asked for and today I really know, the most fitting.

current mood: loved

I got this from Thorgotoft... You can blame him.

1. Put your music player (iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc etc etc) on shuffle.
2. For the first twenty songs that come up and -- no cheating! -- post the first line of the song.
3. If the title of the song comes up in the line, you have two options: you may replace the title with (song title here) or, if that would make it too obvious, you may skip the song. This is the only time you should skip a song! Skipping embarrassing 90s pop songs takes the fun out of it, guys.
4. Let your friends guess the songs.

I lol'd a lot.

http://failblog.org/2010/02/05/friday-rewind-911-fail/

My god mom called me out of the blue. It made my day. She has a facebook. It is also funny.

Went to Boarders today. It looked like a bomb hit it. Okay not a bomb but the shelves didn't have half the selection I had come to expect from them. It was weird.

Their is now only one Block buster around my house and it is not the iconic Newington Location. That makes me a little sad that I can't go there anymore. That particular location I kinda got in "trouble" for. So my parents went out to the casino and my sisters and I were realllly bored. So we decided to go to blockbuster. The problem was I didn't ask to use the car (but I did get m license) and we had to come up with a way to get the movies back. Well, we almost died because it was a cruise night and another car almost took us out at the turn and my father found the movies. Which you know I was then caught. Ahhh, the memories.

10:42 pm - random.
Playing with makeup. The lip stain is not at all attractive on me. I would do the eye shadow but then that usually devolved into me doing a clash between face paint with powder and messed up cat eyes. The green eyeshadow always takes a several washings. I don't why. It is weird.

9:49 am - cute and evil
Velcro is evil. I know that but this morning when I decide obtain consciousness, she decides that it is her time to make a move. She gets all pouncey and while was face planted waking up, she decides to attack my messy pony tail. I was cute and adorable until the elastic lost its charm and she went to climb on my skull.

Okay, I have a great deal of hangs ups. I think that has been established quite thoroughly at this point. On the other hand I try to work on being able to deal with my issues. In particular I watch nature shows to "normalize" my reactions to animals that freak me out. One such program, Nature I believe - on PBS- dealt with how amazing Squids and Octopi are. Um yes, their ability for camouflage and skin manipulation = cool, and the flamboant Squid is kinda adorable and is no bigger than an inch. However, I don't want to be touched by one of those things with a hundred foot pole. They freak me the hell out and in that same program discussed a length that ALL octopi have some level if not one of the most poisonous animals in the animal kingdom. Yea no.

Why do I bring this up? One Particular species, the Humboldt was being studied by some dude by flashing light stick at them to elicit a particular response. Now, why this sticks out in my mind is at this particular point during the show where the narrator says that Humboldts are one of the most violent species of squid. Doom.

Yesterday, I saw a "news" story on Yahoo about Humboldt squid are showing up around Californian waters. I am like WTF? NO. And that people are trying to fish them! What! Are you kidding me? No. What kind of craziness is this. In my head, Disney used these things as a basis for 2000 leagues under the sea! You are not going to sink my battle ship with a gigantic squid!

Don't judge me. I find Mickey getting kicked in the gonads really funny. Disney deserves since their is no Aurora dolls in blue. Bastards. Totally screwing over Merriweather (the fairy not my cat). I am sure their are other things to. But that is the one that gets to me the most.
